I am stating this publicly so that I will actually do it! I haven't worked out since Monday at the WTC! I took Tuesday and Wednesday off because I was just plain tired from the torture I put my body through in LA. Thursday morning I woke up with a bad stomach bug and didn't move off of the couch. Friday I still felt weak and dehydrated so I didn't workout then either. Today I feel good as new and could have worked out, but I am being lazy! I AM GOING TO DO IT TOMORROW!! I was so motivated when I got back from the WTC, I don't want to lose that motivation and fall back into my no exercise habit. Before the trip, I hadn't worked out in almost three weeks. I really, really want to get myself back into the habit of working out during the week! I let myself get so wrapped up in school that I neglect everything else. I really need to make exercise a higher priority in my life. Even though I have a ton of homework to do, I am going to workout tomorrow! No excuses!! Ok, I feel better now! I just had to get that out >> I know it's hard to believe but your erratic work-out pattern is probably more productive than my 6 times a week one cuz your body isn't in a rut and yours is getting plenty of recovery time. BUT if you are serious about making time, how about not allowing yourself to even peek at your egroups posts till AFTER your work-out 4 days a week? Barb who knows how the puter can absorb extra hours

I have a time frame when I have the house to myself everyday, from about 1:30 to 3:00. I claim that I do homework during that time, but I don't! I read email! I think I need to crack down and do what you suggested! No computer until after I workout!! I'll be so happy when my gym opens up because I will go right from school to the gym with no computer to tempt me
Guest guest
> who is thinking about joining the AL5 challenge, but REALLY hates > floorwork... C'mon......join us I HATE floorwork, too! But, I also know that it's what I need to work on the most and I figure this challenge will help me get in the habit of doing floorwork at least once a week Good luck getting back into the groove! We'll be here to help push you along
Guest guest
, If it's any comfort, I haven't worked out since Monday either. I plan to do one within the next hour. This week was entirely too hectic. Plus, I was exhausted from the trip. I hadn't slept very well while in L.A....I woke up every day at 4am (which is 6am in my time zone, the time I usually get up), and I got to bed no earlier than 12m. This week was non-stop. Sooo, I'm with you! As one who also hates floorwork (except for abs), I'd suggest getting back on track with workouts that you actually enjoy...rather than ones you dread. You could always add AL5 to your workout repetoire at a later time, once you have yourself on a more regular workout schedule. ;-) F > I am going to workout tomorrow!!
