My 9 year old with Autism suddenly out of the blue had 2 Grand Mal Seizures

in one week - and is now having sudden " Drop Seizures " - where he just

blacks out for a brief second or two and then falls down losing muscle

control. It happens suddenly then is over. Does anyone have a child like

this? What do you do? What seizure medicine/supplement has been helpful?

Thank you for any input or references. We are so very scared - he has a

broken collar bone - numerous goose-eggs - and is black and blue from these

falls. We are awaiting results from an EEG and have an MRI scheduled. As

usual with Autism - the doctors have offered us no clues as to what could

have suddenly brought these on...... has not been sick or changed

any supplements and is on no medicine other than Klonopin for the seizures.

Which isn't helping..... Thank you all so much for any

suggestions.........
