Well I know that years ago I dated and became partners with a guy that had Hep B at some point. He had all the text book symptoms when he had this. A few years later, my doc checked me for Hep B, and the results were amazing. He told me I had picked up the antibodies to Hep B from my ex partner, even though I had never had Hep B. He said, in fact, I was naturally "immune" to it now, so I never needed or got the vaccinations for Hep B. So, if Hep C works like it's counterpart, it is quite possible. I will say that the body does not "spontaneously" create antibodies though. The body's immune system needs a trigger, or pathogen, to start the antibody proccess. Simply put, he was exposed somehow to Hep C. Hep C is such a serious issue though that I'd have you and your partner meet with your doctor for his advice and guidance. bigbriknox wrote: I am new to the poz world, about 8 months to be exact. I have met a wonderful man recently who has been poz for 20 years. He is in great health with low VL and normal tcell. However, he tested positive for hep C last year, but was then told that his body spontaneously developed anitbodies to it and now has no viral load. He was also told that it is not contageous to sexual partners. I would appreciate input about reinfection and this hep C issue. I am the top and I dont mind wearing a condom. I do feel that this relationship could be forever, and I just need to put some worries to rest at this time. Thanks a lot!.
