How long have you all been doing tae-bo? How long does it take to start

seeing results? I'm new at this (as you can tell!) I just started with the

basic tape yesterday. If anyone has any good advice please enlighten me.

Congrats on the 16th day, sorry about the car, and I hope you are all right,

something like that can be very stressful as well as painful, try to take it

easy and make sure you didnt hurt yourself

Dawn,

A bunch of us have decided to have a little tae-bo convention in LA

so we can go to 's studio in Sherman Oaks and workout and just

get together! There's a whole group of us coming out there. Some of

us have met before and some of us haven't! You are more than welcome

to join us....we would LOVE to meet you! The out-of-towners are

coming in on Thursday, October 5th and leaving Monday morning

(October 9th). We are staying at the Best Western Carriage Inn in

Sherman Oaks. Just let us know if you want to join us and we'll let

you know the details! We'll probably try to plan a group workout on

Saturday or something and maybe plan to do lunch afterwards! Of

course, we'll be working out all of those days...so if you can join

us for more than one day, please do :)

I'm sorry to hear about your accident! I'm glad that you didn't get

hurt....that must have been really scary! Definitely somebody

looking out for you :)

Dawn, I just wanted to jump in and personally invite you to our " taebo

convention " in October. We would love to have you join us for as long as you

can. A bunch of us got together for tapings in February and it was a blast.

This should be even better with the additional people. I'm glad you survived

your accident. I would be a wreck after that. I'm glad volunteered

to do the driving in LA - dangerous place!

All right Dawn, you can come to our Tae Bo convention October 5-9 (or

whichever combination of those days works for you LOL). It would be awesome

to see you!!!

instead of United States. I wonder if that matters??

Welcome a. I've been doing taebo for 17 months. There are all sorts of

results you can get from taebo, some outside and others inside. The

important thing is to stick with taebo and not expect physical results too

quickly. You can do so much for yourself by getting fit through taebo. The

physical results will follow in time. Be sure to learn the form (ex., on the

kicks). Using correct form will give you better results and help you avoid

injury. If you have the instructional tape, do that, too, for the same

reason. You can read more about each of us at our vault site at http://taebo

on.isportsdot.com/

under " Meet the Members. "

a,

Welcome to the group! Everybody sees results at different points

along the way, so it's hard to say when you will start seeing

physical results. What I can tell you, is that you will start seeing

inner changes almost immediately. What I mean by that is, you will

start to feel better about yourself, you will gain inner confidence,

you will feel a sense of accomplishment every day you put the tape in

and push play, etc. The reason I love tae-bo is because it taught me

to focus on what was going on inside of me, not just what I looked

like on the outside. I have always been active, but in the past the

only reason I was doing it was so I could get to a certain weight, or

because I wanted to look a certain way....and of course, I never got

there. Even if I did, I wasn't satisfied because I was trying to

achieve something solely based on physical results. And of course,

what I saw in the mirror was never good enough for me. With tae-bo,

I started listening to what was saying about working your will

and your spirit, as well as your body. How you should focus on

what's going on inside of you and listen to that. Instead of simply

focusing on trying to lose 20 lbs, I started focusing on how I felt

when I did the workout, how much stronger I was getting both

emotionally and physically, how much more confidence I had, how I was

working my will every time I pushed play, how my spirit came alive

when I involved it in my workout! I know this may sound really

silly.....I never would have believed I would feel this way about an

exercise program and yes, I started doing tae-bo simply because I

wanted to lose weight! But, I have gained so much more than weight

loss in the year and a half that I've been doing tae-bo. So, my

advice to you is to forget about the weight loss (at least for the

first few months) and focus on how doing tae-bo makes you feel. I

guarantee, you will see results! You will be AMAZED at the changes

that will occur! But, you've got to be willing to do some work and

although the inner changes might happen right away, the physical ones

might take a little time! Just don't give up! Keep checking in here

for support and motivation...you'll get tons of that! Take your time

and really learn the proper form cause that will really help you on

your journey! Welcome again and Good Luck :)
