X-post, mentoring stories wanted

I am head down on the halfway curve of my mentoring book that will come out from Hale (hopefully)by summer. I am looking for stories, experiences, programs etc to sprinkle throughout the "how to" stuff-I think it just makes it all more interesting and ties it all together. Here is what I need:

-Details about a great mentor or mentoring relationship (from you the learner)

-Details about not so great mentoring (you can be anonymous and we can change stuff so it isn't recognizable)

-Why you chose or love to mentor/what it gives to you

-Cool programs or mentoring opportunities that you do/know about

If you don't have time to email, send me your phone number and good times for me to call to interview you. In addition, this doesn't have to be specific to lactation. My dad was my first mentor and the person that I learned (Learn) a lot of my business practice from. I will put your name on whatever you send me unless you request otherwise, again because I think readers find various viewpoints more interesting than just me droning on and quoting research etc.
