muscle cuz I had been upping my weights from 3 pounds to 5.

Well, yesterday I was back at plateau weight and today 2 pounds lighter!!!!

I sensed something was up cuz when I massaged my knees, they felt thinner.

Don't think the knees lie like the scale.

thanks ,

I know at times I have been too impatient and tried to get faster results in

ways that actually set me back. I see this self-defeating attitude in others

way too often. The true key to me is to increase exercise gradually and to

change eating habits gradually (especially starting with less saturated fats

& drinking more water), to avoid shocking your metabolism physically and

burning yourself out psychologically.

To show how TB can help at any age even with minimum use:

my mom who is 75 just does the 8 minute work-out almost everyday

and her waist has lost over 4 inches even though she has gained 2 pounds!!!

My dad who is a tailor had to take some of her clothes in

Sandy,

hang in there!!!!

it must be the real thing cuz my waist lost another inch after working-out

(total 10 ), hips half an inch and thighs half an inch!!!

your menus and points from WW helped me adjust my intake BTW

confirming I was not eating enough

I have been trying not to really count points or calories lately and break

the *diet* mentality & just choose foods with less saturated fat, more fiber

and smaller but more frequent portions, not letting myself get hungry or too

hungry

Of course, my hubby gave me disapproving looks as I started eating after

dinner too but :P to him cuz it is working.

Barb,

What an amazing way to look at it! I really like this quote and I

think I will print it and put it up so I can see it every day. I think

Great plan Barb. It's healthy and practical.

Way to go, Barb! When that plateau is gone for good..and it must be

on it's way out for sure..then we need to get it tied up and shipped to

the Yoga Lady asap, so it doesn't attach itself to any other Tae-bo-ers.

Grr..that scale...why not take a metal tape measure and redo your

measurements including wrist or any other points you didn't do the

first time around...write them down and put them away for future

reference? We already know the measurements and the fit of our clothes

are the best indicators. And the fit of the clothes (jeans) can even

get a little goofy because of muscle and the body shape shifting.

-who would love attending a going away party for the

plateau...but isn't sure it deserves one...maybe a better party would

be a " Barb held in there and stuck it to the plateau party " .

Barb,

She might have suspected a plateau was coming her way. ;) Ok, second

choice the people that send unsolicited porn over the internet.
