Guest guest
Deb, I like your 'I befriend' them. I will keep that with me, thank you. Do you want to know the truth, Deb? Yes. I should believe " my sister died, it's not mine to question. " Is it true? Maybe I'd be happier. Can you know that it's true? No. When my sister died, question after question arose. That was reality. How do you react when you hold that thought? I feel guilty and angry and dishonest. Can you think of a reason to drop that thought? Yes. Nonstressful reason to keep it? No. Who would you be without that thought? I would be someone who could accept and trust my own feelings. I'd be someone who could rely on Inquiry whenever she needed to. I would be at peace with myself. I would not blame any God who might be out there for my sister's death. I would question as long as I had questions and then I would stop. Turnaround of a sort: there are no " shoulds " around my sister's death. What is, is. Questions and feelings arise. I befriend them. I Inquire. Thank you all for being " out there. " Deb Wiese

I heard Petty a race car driver, on losing his son. He said " Why would I put a question mark, where God as put a period, my son died period, it's not mine to question. " He seemed to be so much of what say's, when she say's to question reality...welcome to hell. Reality RULES!!! How sweet and simple...just what this one needed this morning!! thanks maureen
