Hi Tonya,

Very cool same would happen in my case I am sure and same thing give me the

ticket I don't care. If you can keep her in a seat belt awesome ride with us

but I doubt very seriously any one would be able to we tried all kinds of

gadgets and car seat but she slithered out of

everything even the supposed to be climb proof stuff lol.

Yes sounds like Angel she will at least sit in her seat now but even with the

bus at times I could not get her on the bus the teacher can couse problems if

they want but if I can't get her on the bus even with the help of the aid and

bus driver then how can I get her to school I can't walk her she is blind and

has low muscle tone to boot and I certainly cannot carry her I am not much

bigger than her and she weighs half my weight. This is rare but it has

happened.

If the teacher has problems, I think the school should do what another school

did that I knew of in MD. The school paid a social worker to be at the asd's

child home in the morning to help the parent, bus driver and bus aid with

getting the child into the bus. Is this something that can be added to the IEP?

Garrett got out of everything I could come up with too and then attacked me

as I was driving. It's better now at age 9. If he wants to go somewhere

bad enough, like to get pizza, he will wear the seat belt. If he doesn't

want to go, like to school, forget it.
