I have no Idea. When I was living in South Carolina and was a bank teller I was looking for my name and to my surprise found A LOT of Tashjian's on the East coast. It's Armenian. I was born in MI myself, but I do know I have distant family scattered all over..even in CA. people see my last name and can't pronounce it

I thought this was interesting. I was born and raised most of my life ( until age 18) in Michigan and lived at one time for a few years in the largest Armenian area, which is now the largest population of Arabs outside of any Arab country. Also, I lived in South Carolina as well for 4 years and then for three during my adulthood.

Maybe we have met once :)( <G>

- now in Illinois

Hi Niel, Welcome to the group. My name is Sherry and I live in Essex.

We have a 5yr old son who was dx with ASD in april 2003. He also has

a chromosome deletion which means he has a degree of MR and

developmental delays. I would love to join your group. Is it a yahoo

group I will look to see!

I know all about the lack of services over here, we had to take our

LEA to tribunal to get Tobys statement at the level he needs. We are

still not happy with the amount of speech therepy he is getting but

there just arn't the services there!

Good luck with your studies, I will hopefully chat with you again.
