Guest guest
Hi ette, I am from Ohio 16 yrs on AP. So sorry to hear of your trouble. I had aflare pretty bad last yr and did not know what to do either. I was in contact with dr. Sinnott and he said I should increase my Doxy. I had to have 3 big shots of steroids but then it like calmed down and I also am watching this closely. I have been doing ok now but on ALERT and I have tried to really watch foods and other things like outside chemicals and house stuff also. I did not increase my meds as of yet I am trying less for awhile to see if maybe my body needed a break. I will never go completely off AP but I do play with the doses, and I may increase later but maybe you could try less and see if your body is just needing a cleanse first. It is so hard to know what to do and after along time it is hard to think and trust the drs. too but that is what I have done for now anyway. Good luck and let us know what you do and decide. I am telling people if they are Americans or from the Medterrian to look into FMF. It is way underdianoised in this country and misdiagnosed as Rheumatic disorders. Many people have found relief taking cochicine, a little pill made from the Couscous plant from the saffron. I am trying this as well. I feel 95% better with the antibiotics and I am going after that last 5% here is a link to FMF. If any of your ancestors came from the Southern Mountains, or if you do not know where your people were from in the US, think upon it. This drug is also used for gout in this country, but in much larger amounts. For the FMF it is taken a lot like the antibiotics.6mg a day a small amount. If you go to the link below and scroll down you will find FMF and other related illnesses. Melungeon Health www.melungeonhealth.org Ann Pritchard " Deep in the center of our beings is an infinite wealth of love " http://www.rheumatic.org/medhist.htm\ < latest published work. http://groups.msn.com/TyroMedia/\ pictures < latest photos Melungeon Music < 's Web Site
Guest guest
Try giving the either Zyme Prime or the AFP Peptizyde for 4-5 days or so. So stop one of them and continue the other as you are and then post results. This may help determine what is going on. .

I thought at these > things would have stopped by now. He might still be eating foods the enzymes are not addressing. Try adding 1/4 capsule of No-Fenol, see if that helps. You might try removing foods. For my kids, enzymes helped with most foods but not artificials, rice, corn, and luteins/carotenes [primarily orange and green foods]. >>Another strange thing he does is not wanting to get dressed > or put on new shoes. If you are giving high doses of B vitamins, stop them and see if this problem goes away. It can also be foods he is eating that the enzymes are not addressing. He also might not tolerate the enzymes. Guest guest
I'm still trying to find answers concerning my health issues and after a visit to my GP today, I think my quest will be a very long one. MY bloodwork indicated no allergies at all. She focused on my fatigue and prescribed a B12 vitamin supplement. As for my headaches, she's ordering a CT scan. I really have no idea where to turn next. Also, I've been pondering since I found out I have no allergies: Even though I have no allergies, can I still be adversely affected by SBS? I won't know if my classroom is infested with mold until it gets tested. I really think the excessive dust is the main culprit of my ailments. Can anyone tell me about this? Guest guest
Your allergy tests can come back negative and you can be made ill by mold since that is not an allergy but a posinoning by mycotoxins. Dr are clueless when it comes to this as I went threw 23 before I found out what I had. Since then seen more and more Dr who are also cluless. Please listen to others here you will waist your time with regular Dr who are blind and deaf. Guest guest
Darlene, I would ask a lot of questions before getting my head CT scanned unless it was an emergency situation like a serious head injury.... I am not a doctor so can't recommend what you do, but CT scans are WAY over prescribed in the US without better outcomes than in other countries who scan less. It delivers a huge dose of radiation, the equivalent of 100's to 1,00's of chest x-rays. The presidents medical advisory council earlier this year said medical imaging is causing cancers, Devra , a prominent epidemiologist, says the same thing in her book The Secret History of the War on Cancer......ask a lot of questions, get more medical opinions before getting the CT scan, what is it they are looking for? what about trying some other things before resorting to a ct scan, what are the risks of waiting etc.?? I suggest finding a good integrative medicine doctor or a naturopath... Mold/sick building problems can cause many other problems besides allergies... Guest guest
The longer you wait to get the right testing & treatment the possibility of getting sicker becomes higher each day you are exposed. You must rule out mold illness called biotoxin illness. I went to Dr. Shoemaker in Pocomoke City, MD. I am getting better on a drug CMS that binds the neurotoxins also called biooxins in the body & then they are discreted through the bowels. I hope you can find the right Dr. in your area but if not please do not waste time-go to a Dr who knows this illness. VERY IMPORTANt! I had horrible migraines/with vomiting for years. Now they are gone b/c of a right diagnosis and treatment. I had so many symptoms---fatigue, cough, respitory infections, reflux, leg, feet, & toe cramps, muscle pain, IC bladder, eye problems like blurriness, light sensitivity, & pain in the eye, cognitive problems, etc. I had a long list and most are gone from 3 mos on the CMS. May God lead you toward the right doctor, Diane
Guest guest
Don't waste your time and money on Drs who don't understand mold or environmental illness. I saw a GP and a neurologist for 10 years for migraines with no help given. I have never tested positive for allergies. I have never had a headache in my life not connected to mold exposure. Did you visit and read Dr Shoemakers website? You must educate yourself, and get away from what is making you sick. You will never know when one more day will change forever your immune system, and your will develop a hypersensitivity that no dr knows how to cure. Only the tests outlined by Dr Shoemaker will show mold exposure. If you want those tests you have to go to a mold specialist, not an allergist, they don't know squat. > > I'm still trying to find answers concerning my health issues and after a visit to my GP today, I think my quest will be a very long one. Guest guest
Oy it's not allergies! It's sensitivities and, yes, poisoning too. My doctor did allergy blood tests and I came out negative for everything except one form of mold-ridiculous since all mold makes me very ill. The doctor still feels that some of my " allergies " may be masked and I highly doubt it (why does everyone always think I " don't realize " I'm allergic to dogs??? How stupid are we?) Anyway, find a new doctor or go in with very specific exacting info on sensitivities and mold poisoning. What else can you do? Guest guest
I agree-you have to control your own healthcare. I've had migraines for years and if I had a dollar for every doctor who said " Are you sure it's a migraine? Maybe you need a million tests? " I'd be rich! In your head and heart you know what the problem is-saying no to a medical test is your right! > > Darlene, > > I would ask a lot of questions before getting my head CT scanned unless > it was an emergency situation like a serious head injury....
