Dave,

Thank you for the kind words. I have regard for your comments because

they come from a kindred spirit that is also driven toward excellence.

When I was first exposed to body building I thought it incredibly narcissistic

and gay. After further consideration I learned a lot from body building; The

importance of nutrition, training all parts of the body, careful planning, the

value of a systematic approach to training and discipline.

I have come to appreciate and respect the years of hard work and dedication

required to compete at the level where you have been successful.

Thank you for taking the time to write. No matter how secure one may be in one's

personal philosophy, it is always nice to be validated.

What

is good? All that heightens the feeling of power in man, the will to

power, power itself. What is bad? All that is born of weakness. What is

happiness? The feeling that power is growing, that resistance is

overcome.

Coach ,

I wanted to congratulate you on your drive and heart that you consistently

display here on Supertraining. You are constantly researching and applying what

you learn to your athletes. It seems that you have a passion for what you do,

along with a drive not to be satisfied with your current knowledge. The

drive/heart that you display is probably what makes you an excellent coach. I

have been around many coaches and athletes over the years and I rarely come

across people of your intensity. I'm a believer that the best coaches/teachers

are the ones who have passion for what they do. They do not research because

they are worried about their competition, but rather because they have a natural

love for their sport. Btw...thanks for your reply on creatine. I used some of

Colgan's suggestions back in the early 90's for some of my competitions

and always had great results whenever I applied his knowledge to my nutritional

plans.
