Guest guest
I have heard that there is something called conservative medical practice. Axioms of conservative medicine: 1) First, do no harm. 2) Conserve the patient's existing functional abilities. 3) Try reversible therapies first; use irreversible therapies as a last resort. 4) Maintain informed consent. 5) Maintain a grievance and review process. 6) ? If you can fill some of this in, WRT PSSD, please do. If you can provide a reference, to the Oath, or to more recent ethical writings, please do. If you can make an association between this and something called consultation-liaison psychiatry, please do.
