Guest guest
I agree that you should look outside of your meds.for something that has entered your home ,car or workplace.Imagine my disbelief when the laundry detergent that I was using, added enzymes to its formula.Enzymes can set asthma off and I am one who has to avoid them. The lesson is to constantly monitor even old favorites in your life. Tedious but well worth it. Anastasia
Guest guest
>For the past 5 days I have been having difficulties with my asthma. >It seems like within 2hrs of taking my meds my asthma flares up. Eg: >I take my Symbicort at 9am and at 9pm everyday. Maybe you should look outside of your drugs/you and see if something has changed in your environment........is someone in your street building/repairing/painting their house/shed/whatever........have you changed to a new brand of anything in the house......etc Yesterday a mini attack was bought on my waiting to board a bus & the bus in front was puffing out of the exhaust a huge amount of diesel fumes. Ended up having to use reliever in bus - that is why I chose the back seat!!! in West Auckland, NZ Cyber Hugs for today/yesterday/tomorrow
Guest guest
Hi ladies, My name is Saray Hill; I'm the mother of a 3 year old breastfeeding toddler and an IBCLC. I'm bilingual in Spanish and I moved to CA over a year ago from NC, where I worked as a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor. I also worked for WIC in Los Angeles, which gave me the opportunity to continue helping mothers and babies of different ethnicities, social backgrounds and ages. I'm currently working independently for an organization in Santa and looking to reach other organizations/businesses who would like to offer breastfeeding support within the Los Angeles county. I'd love to connect with other IBCLCs in private practice, especially with those in the Los Angeles area. Would also love to be able to meet face to face for coffee or lunch. Relocating from the east to the west coast meant a new beginning in almost every aspect of our life, including friends and professional network. Thanks, Saray Hill, BS, IBCLC, RLC
