Guest guest
Dear Members, Does anyone have a husband or member of their family who just doesn't " get " asthma? I know this is a delicate subject, but I am at my wits end on this. I cannot be around strong smells and gases and fumes from all sorts of things, but my husband wants to go to restaurants, buy new carpeting and have me paint the house,... when it really bothers me alot. What I am saying is that I have no support system and I think it makes me sicker than need be.What you all have ------------------------------------------------------ Hi Angie! Sorry to hear that. Did you give him information to read to help him understand better? Sorry I don't live with another adult but I know a little of what you're going through but I haven't found any answers. My kids don't understand and no one else in my whole world seems to understand. I'm totally alone when it comes to breathing and I have to fight my own battles no support here. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have my online friends. Why do you have to travel thousands of miles just to find people that understand? There something wrong with that picture. I hope you have better luck with your husband. HUGS!!! Guest guest
ps : hey, wild, hope you are doing well! didnt hear you from long time ya! ----------------------------------------------------- Hi Senthil! Still alive. Having several attacks and just not too talkative but I'm still alive over here. How are doing these days? How's that tooth doing? Are you back in yoga? You know you could walk until you get back to yoga. I just do housework for exercise these days it's usually about 2 hours a day or shopping whatever that needs to be done but I haven't been gaining any more weight so I guess I'm doing something right. Those steriods had gotten extra weight on me but that's doing better now. Hope you're well! HUGS!!! Guest guest
Hey Wild, > Still alive. Having several attacks and just not too talkative but I'm > still alive over here. How are doing these days? How's that tooth > doing? Are you back in yoga? You know you could walk until you get > back to yoga. Thanx for your enquiry about my health! well,Its sad to hear that you are having bad attacks.as I posted yesterday due to I wet in rain I got cold, fever and even mild coughing.not feeling good at all. I am on allegra and paracetamol.allegra reduced the sneezing but I think it has got drying effect in the sense I feel bit difficult to breath. For my tooth,I have to do something on my gums, that I will do only after I ger recovery from this cold etc,etc stuffs.so,No yoga.only smoking!?!?!??!?!??! but then are you suffering really bad? you say you are still alive. why did suddenly your asthma go bad? dont worry too much about exercise? I suggest you to try exercise like yoga since in yoga you dont run, jump.you just stand and do stuffs slowly. well,my probelm is I always overdo anything,If I do yoga I keep on doing,ya,well, now I revember infact I have got acidity probelm since I was doing toomuch yoga without eating proberly. so,I am now on pervacid.I will do yoga after acidity and tooth probelm will solved! well, but you take only ICS (advair) right,I dont think so ICS can increase the weight.if you are not taking oral steroids then your increase in weight may be due to somethingelse. why do you worry somuch about weight? anyway you got married, have got children.just relax and enjoy the life ya! well, may be are you worried due to increase in weight may give some other medical probelm? then you may have to take that seriously! well, once again, yoga can reduce the weight so much with out somuch jumping and running! ah,wait a minute I am going to sneeze ... well,I am not feeling well at all.hope you will feel well soon and then do loooooooot of exercise and then become so slim, are you happy now? have a good time ya!
