We were told this baby probably also had DS but farther testing showed it didn't. As the medical people I have come in contact are surprised by the result, I am still being cautious and this wonderful group has let me stay here and learn from them. I have a son who's 11, a daughter 7, and my angel Jaemen who's 3(DS.) I have had it on my heart to adopt a child from South America with DS as my family is from Peru and my hubby's from Puerto Rico. My husband is still a little reluctant on adopting Internationally, but we've also considered doing foster care for kids with special needs...I'm interested in reading about your family here, as someday I hope and pray to have two little angel's running around my house! I'm praying it's sooner rather than later...
