They captured what it must be like for a little girl to come into a family she doesn't yet know. What a blessing for her to have found your family, as I am sure she will be a blessing to you. Keep us up to date about how things are going. Our "little girl", Sara (DS) and her twin brother. will be 11 tomorrow. I cannot believe where the time has gone. Sara, has such a pre-teen attitude, sometimes. Things that use to work for me to motivate her, she sees right through, now; such as last night, she outright refused to do her homework, so I said for every spelling word you write, I will give you one marshmallow (small); (marshmallows have been her very favorite treat); however, she said, marshmallows aren't good for you, they have sugar and powdered sugar and I am not going to eat them any more, and I am still not going to do my homework. I'm thinking, o.k. where do we go from here? Anyway, after dinner, she was in a better state of mind and we did get through it, but she amazes me with how she outsmarts me daily!
