Greetings everyone,

I have finally decided to take the leap and join the many discussions of this

fabulous and enriching group called Trad Foods! Introductions first ~ my name is

Mueller and I am the woman behind " Garden Life ~ Living Foods' making

fermented foods, lo-sugar jams, pesto, applesauce, roasted nuts, dehydrated

fruits & veggies and much more ~ all locally and sustainably grown. My life has

been so enriched by all the grower's that I work with and so many of you that I

have met at the warehouse, both customers, growers, vendors & volunteer's. My

thanks and gratitude to each of you, for your life and sharing have clearly each

day enriched mine.

When I first met Will Winter at a lecture he was giving for the Crow River

Chapter of Sustainable Farmer's I never imagined at that time that my journey in

life would take me this place ~ Trad Foods. The opportunity to share with you,

healthy & nourishing foods fills me each day with joy!

I am looking forward to offering a full-season of classes at Trad Foods on the

preserving of fresh fruits & vegetables (canning, dehydrating and more),

beginning fermentation classes, wildcrafting foods & medicinal herbs and more.

These classes will be offered throughout the growing season for all those

desiring to learn about the techniques used over thousands of years up to

current ways of preserving. Currently, my days are filled with the spring

harvest of our wild foods ~ nettles, dandelion's and the beautiful flowers of

violets and dandelion for syrups & baking with. Soon to be at the store.

Ah ~~ The MOREL MUSHROOMS ~~ they are here! Will be bringing these into the

warehouse on a first come first serve basis tomorrow (Tuesday 5/11) I have

approximately 5 pounds. You may contact me via email or my office phone if you

are interested before tomorrow morning. They are $39.00 a pound or $22.00 for a

half.

Not sure how the balance of the season will go, although with more rain on the

way, there is a chance....that there could be more.

And....they are fabulous! Worth all the hours spent hunting and picking.

Green Blessings

Mueller
