I have thought of home schooling, but would have to hire a

tutor/teacher...looked into a few colleges that accept high school students,

having him live

in nyc with my husband/his father, but he travels constantly, and that would

be like having a 16 year old raise himself, moving myself, but my 90 year old

mom lives with us here....just no easy answer. Also boarding school, but

much of this is unaffordable for me, and I really don't want to send him away

to a boarding high school....he thinks mentally and emotionally he is beyond

high school. has convinced himself..knows what he wants...but what we want

isn't always right or possible. Love you ideas...keep 'em coming and I will

check that out! Judith

Judith,

Have you though about doing distance learning via the internet? A lot

of colleges are now offering courses that way. Since he is comfortable

on the computer, maybe that would be a way to keep his mind active. I'm

sure if you do a search under " distance learning " many schools will come

up. Just an idea.
