Guest guest
Thanks, I was told I would never have kids, part due to my weight! When I found out I was , we were so happy ! One thing that does worrie me is that my son will be overweight! Because I was, He at 6 months old is a little to young for Tae Bo , hey do you think they will make Tae Bo for Babys?? LOL , , Well his future weight will depend partly on genetics more importantly it will depend on upbringing. Once we create a fat cell it never it dies unless its liposuctioned out or something like that. And the more fat cells we create the more likely we are to carry weight. So try not to let him create them in the first place. But also use this as motivation for yourself. You need to set a good example for him with your own eating habits. And he will be picking those up by observation very soon. I would suggest that you invest a little bit of money in talking to a nutritionist/and or a pediatrician about what types of foods you should be feeding him considering his genetic makeup. Don't stress too much though!!! This is an exciting time and you can't make an undoable decision as far as his and your diet go!!

Guest guest
> Is everyone happy with the tapes? How often do you do them? Do you > get bored of the same tapes? I hate to ask stupid questions, I just > need to know... Thanks so much ! , Welcome to the group! I'm sure you will love it here! I workout 5-6 times a week and I alternate basic and advanced days. I've been doing tae-bo for almost a year and a half and I have never gotten bored, but that's because I have every tae-bo tape ever made...LOL! There are a ton of tapes that you can get, so that helps to keep you from getting bored! I think you said you have the Live 4-pack of tapes. The instuctional in that set is phenomenal and you will really learn a lot from that tape! I'm in both the basic and advanced tapes in that set, so once you start doing those workouts let me know and I'll tell you where I am, so we can workout together Good luck as you start doing tae-bo! We'll be right there with you to help you when you need that extra push
Guest guest
Welcome Kirstin I hope you enjoy being with us on the group - I've made some great friends here. I've just started using that set too, Thanks to Elena, who brought me the set when she visited England and I just got the conversion from my brother this last weekend. I worked out with on the basic Sunday and had great fun, it's a great set. The only problem is the copy on the colour is weird, so I'm not sure if I spotted or not, but it was enought knowing she was there. Jill who Thanks Elena *HUGS* and must get a dual format VCR sometime soon. > Which tapes do you have? > > > > I bought the " Tae bo live " it's 4 tapes together. I just love the Basic. is hard to miss. She is tall and has a pony tail. She gets a close up, looking very serious doing the speedbag where you try to keep one arm straight. There are other closeups, too, but that one stands out for me. Plus, she really moves her feet well on the corner to corner jabs. I think you'll enjoy the advanced tape, too. Guest guest
> Are you in the Basic tape, the one that came w/ the instructional? If so, > tell me who you are? Also, who is the girl in the basic..she has very short > hair and she is standing next to someone named Debbie I thing..she has a > toned body and is cute..I like her workout format Kathy, I think you have the original tapes (the studio version) and I'm not in those tapes! I'm in the basic and advanced tapes that are in the Live 4-pack. I think the girl you are talking about is , but I haven't done that tape for so long that I'm not absolutely sure about that! I was going to check, but then I realized that I had lent my studio basic tape out and I need to get it back! Wait until you get the live tapes and see how much Shellie has changed! You won't even recognize her! Anyway, I think you ordered the first 3 live basic tapes, right? I should be in BL1. I'm standing right behind Shellie and I'm wearing a gray workout top and dark blue workout pants and my hair is in a french braid! So, we can still workout together
Guest guest
Elena Thanks so much - I was busy trying to do the workout, but now I know when to pay more attention I really enjoyed the workout, and probabaly even more so after eating out all weekend! Jill who has to admit the 8 min was tooo much/fast so didn't try it on Sunday > I'm so glad you finally got the live 4-pack, Jill. I just love the > Basic. is hard to miss.
