I don't know that I will have much success with the PTT until we get some more research out there, so for those of you who are working with this population, and having success with providers performing frenotomy and so forth I would implore you to collect and maintain data regarding your outcomes and for case studies. At this time the research we do have is primarily rooted in the management of, for lack of a better word, classic tongue tie. Although our anecdotal experiences do not replace the need for formal research, it is valuable, so please collect and save your data! Do you tend to manage your documentation as you go, or do you tend to compile and manage the documents at a certain time, meaning 1 day a week file all your charts etc.? If can can scan the info you could just make a folder on your computer and compile it all there. Or if you can easily photo copy documents before you file add a TT and PTT file to your filing system and get copies into it.... are you doing home visits in Seattle, or just having clients come to you?
