Guest guest
Yes, I would say CranioSacral would be excellent for that baby. It may not solve everything but it is a wonderful therapy for many alignment/asymmetry, etc issues. Good luck!
Guest guest
Hello, . Babies who can't open wide often got the TMJ jammed during the birth process. And craniosacral therapy can definitely help with this situation. Dee Kassing I'm wondering if any of you have insight into whether craniosacral therapy would help this baby: 6 day old- doesn't seem to have any assymetry (that I can see- still learning about this), but just doesn't open his jaw very wide, even when he cries. It might not be a problem, but mom has firm breasts/flat- ish nipples. Think we've got him on far enough that he's transferring some milk now, but she's still got damage on one side. Thanks,

Guest guest
Hmmm. I wondered about the relationship of TT and opening wide. I have seen this before and didn't know if it was the chicken or the egg. Will see the dyad today or tomorrow and check again for TT, recommend CT to ease jaw. Thanks for all the replies, very helpful. Re: wide open mouth ,Tongue Tie babies can not open wide as well. Once tongue is released they open very wide usually as soon as the release happens.
