For 47 years I was either dealing with my mother or husband (24 of the 47) and their craziness. I got divorced 4 years ago tomorrow. I basically live alone now as my son lives at college most of the year. I can hardly describe the peace and contentment of living alone with my cat and dog. The quiet and calm is so beautiful. As a single mother with no child support, money is tight, but money can't buy what I have now. I go to work, church, the gym, long walks at the beach, library and enjoy every second.
