Guest guest
, He is at the Children's campus, on the 7th floor (Whale clinics). We saw Darcy King, his assistant, when my dd was 13 months old, and she was wonderful, told us to expect a dx of HFA if her behaviour continued the same, and told us to make our appt. with Dr. Cowan for 18 months (this coming up appt). So, it only took a couple months to get in, the only problem is that the neuro clinic is only open on Tues and Wed, so that is kind of an issue with scheduling. Other than Darcy and Dr. Cowan himself, we are not seeing any of the other team members, my dd has had all of her hearing evals done at Children's though. As she is only 18 months, they really can't do any major testing on her! I'll let you know how the appt. goes jenna and arielle > Hi Jenna- > I haven't seen Dr. Cowan but someone on another list did see him and > had nothing but good things to say about him. Guest guest
Hi Jenna- Thanks for the info. I didn't realise your dd was so young! I think Dr. Cowan also works out of Bellevue on other days, but I'm not sure the name of the practice. I know exactly where you are describing him on the Children's campus though. I was originally told he was a neurologist, but my insurance company has him listed as an MD. Do you know his exact title-specialty? I'll be looking forward to hearing about your appointment.
