THANKS, . It’s always nice

to get compliments about parenting, since we have such challenging kids! J

I do care a lot even though I don’t

often get that much back from Beth. In fact, her friends tell her she is mean

to me. I hope she starts listening to them.

My Beth (15, as/social anxiety) is

social and always has been. Not overly social but she will talk to people IF I

am talking to them first, especially. She likes being around people to a

certain extent but also needs recuperation times in her quiet room after

interactions. She definitely does better one on one than in a big group. I’ve

loved seeing her develop actual girlfriend relationships this year in high

school. It’s the first year it’s happened. I do think it’s

easier for girls than boys, usually. Beth has never been the typical aspie as your son seems, ….really interested in

facts and academia and books. Beth is more social than academic, for sure.

Oh well…back to taking down
