Guest guest
I know this doesn't apply to our group and the autism-asperger point of it, but thank you nna for printing the truth as found in the Bible. YOu are right, we can not accept what is clearly Sin in God's eyes, but we must love them and help them to receive His word and turn from their sin. As you said we are all sinful, but once we accept the Spirit, we need to change and bear fruit. Thanks once again BP/Aspergers SUPPORT GROUP Debby, Mom to: Kristofer 10, BPII, General Anxiety, Tourettes, Distraction, OCD, Over-focused (switching to lamactil, lexapro and keeping tenex) Bradley 8, Aspergers, Cyclothymic BP, Social anxiety, Phonological, (switching to Gabitral, tenex, abilify, keeping seraquel) 504 public school Mandy 5, - holding out for hope! Guest guest
O.K I think we should get back to the subject of this list and that is our kids. We are here to support each other. I am a Christian and, in fact, my Father is a minister. I know what the Bible says on this subject and know how I believe. I Have known many people who are homosexuals. I have never believed it was a sickness or disease or something they are born with. It is a lifestyle that they choose to live. It is their life and between them and God. Everyone can read a passage of the Bible and can interpret it in many different ways. On a list like this, I have found there are two things that make an argument, religion and politics. We all believe differently and we all have different views. What a boring world it would be if we didn't. I am a Christian and proud of my Faith. I am never ashamed of the way I believe and have never failed to express my views. However as I said, people believe differently, and when you fight over subjects like this, the only thing that happens is people get feelings hurt. I have seen even the best of us become very rude when we feel we must stand up for our beliefs. That's why I feel subjects like this are better left alone. One day we will all know the truth and we will all be judged, but in the mean time let's try to respect each other, and not be the judges ourselves. So let's agree to disagree and move on. Hope you all are doing well and I wish all of you a very Happy Holiday to you and your family. So with all that said, let's get back to the subject of this list.
