Hello all,

I recently released a training package called: " Food for Life, Fit

for Life - Prevent Diabetes, Heart Disease and Cancer " . Considering

various recent discussions on Supertraining, I thought it may be of

interest to some.

I've summarised pretty much the current knowledge in best practice

preventive health approaches for these 'big three' diseases, which

account for most morbidity and mortality in the developed countries

at least. Lots of current references of course.

The preventive health themes are: weight management, nutrition,

physical activity, and motivational aspects of change. I intend to

keep it up to date into the future and add more modules and tools.

Currently, it's a package of PowerPoint slides (120) with notes, fact

sheets, risk assessment handouts, sample student evaluation

questions, and a manual. The licence is 'limited private licence',

which means you can put your logo and name on it and make certain

modifications, but not others. (There are two versions for US and UK

spelling and units.)

If you want to check it out, you can get a free ebook version with

summaries to get an idea of the content. You need to fill in your

email address on the web site and I'll keep you up to date with

changes and additions. There's also a FAQ.
