Mom no reaction at all. I wondered about the fenugreek....But before I used MMP, I used fenugreek and never had a baby (or a mom) react to that either.

Ahhhh -- into every LC's life, a new reaction must fall.

Has anyone had a baby react negatively to More Milk Plus? Had a mom w/ low supply on it, and shortly after she started taking it, baby started spitting up much more -- vomiting off and on all day; squirmy at breast, crying, upset, on and off the breast. Did the same thing w/ her pumped milk in a bottle, but was fine w/ a bottle of formula.

If you have had a baby like this, has anyone identified which of the ingredients it is in MMP that might cause it?

Have used this for years, and this is the first report I've had like this.

Many mothers take domperidone for the long haul...but why mmsb, goats rue and fenugreek? The sb has goats rue...in what way is he unhappy? What doseage of dom is she taking? -- Sent from my Palm Pixi

she reacted badly to everything! I thought for sure domp. would be ok for her, but it really wasn't. yes, very sad. I felt horrible for that. Jan,

Did she try the MM w/o the fenugreek? I think I would be inclined to use the

silybin (capsules) bc I think everyone needs liver support. And I have never

seen a reaction to milk thistle. I am also a fan of using teas, rather than

capsules or tinctures. If mom has no problem with MM, I would probably just keep

her on that and add silybin so long as I did not think anything else required

attention. If her supply is abundant with the herbs, fine, but if it is always

teetering, I would probably add shatavari or mulungay. Obviously, I would add

goats rue if I thought ductal development were an issue. You already have some

of my favorites in the MM--blessed thistle, nettles and fennel, so unless you

were going to switch to a tea, that's what I would try. In a tea--I use all the

herbs except milk thistle, shatavari and mulungay. They are wonderful together.

I would also be paying attention to fat soluble vitamins, EFAs and

phytonutrients.
