O.,

I found " Cry In The Desert " through bookfinder.com. I enjoyed it for the

most part, but wondered about the accuracy of it. I wanted to know what

the story was (i.e. why it was taken out of print), so I asked someone

at the Foundation. I wasn't given the story (except assured that it

would never be reprinted), but was told that since the new book " Loving

What Is " is in KATIE'S voice, it will be much more accurate. Sounds

worth waiting for (March 19).

You may have to copy and paste that link into your browser. There are

9 copies available, one of them new. Prices starting at $5.97.

I've never heard of this book, and Amazon had not details. It's

interesting?

A Cry in the Desert: The Byron Story by a

female author is one that I've seen on Half.com.

I think the Amazon books A Cry in the Desert are

authored by a male.

Hope this helps,

Debbie

Hi all

There is the book " A Cry in the Desert " by Christin Lore Weber (it is a woman

and I have the book in my hand) and then there is one in German by Moritz

Boerner. I don't know if this one has been translated into English. You may look

it up on Amazon.

I hope having been of help

from Switzerland

Hi,

Cry in the desert by Christin Lore Weber is a book about , but

it is not really worth reading. When I talked with about it, it

turned out, that she did not agree with or did not even know exactly

its content. She also must have had strong reasons to stop it from

distribution.

It does not contain anything about The Work itself.

My suggestion is to stay straight with The Work, the Four questions

and not to bother about the founder or anything connected to any

organisation.

And that, my dear, is YOUR story....some of us would like to read this story

anyway. None of us know 's reasons for dropping it's publication. How

is it , in all her clarity, says to you she does not agree with this

book that she didn't read? Maybe you misunderstood her? Or possibly you

aren't saying it the way you would like it to be understood?

Thank you...guess that's why I haven't found the book yet. It's been so

long since I researched it, I just know I made the determination to not buy

it because of availability. I turned over everything I could think of to

find it, including emailing people for this book. I am still interested in

reading it. I'm just patiently waiting for it to come my way.

So, Coyote...if you have the incling to copy it, scan it, whatever, I will

offer you something in return. I have books and programs I can email, or

send to you in exchange. We can talk about it privately. If you don't want

to scan it, that's fine. Something else will come along. I can wait.

Thanks. Laurie O. :-)
