thanks very much for the info, mike. one question- did you have all the symptoms

of pssd: no libido, reduced sensation, ed, etc. and were they all reversed by

adderall?

my country and therefore can not be prescribed.

The only psychostimulant that's available here is Ritalin. Does

anybody know if it has similar stimulating effect?

yes I had all the symptoms for pssd. My sensation was

not even there, like my penis was paralyzed. Also I

had no interest in sex, and when I ejaculated it was

like it didnt even happen. these were reversed with

it. Im still trying to see if its going to help me, I

just saw the docotr but he started me off on a real

low low dose, so ill see how it goes. Im taking 10mg a

day, but recommened for adult is 20 so we'll see. Im

gonna play it by ear. =)

I alwasy hear bad things about ritalin, and its

nothing like adderal. Its a cousin to aderall, yet its

pharmacology is tottally different. I stand correct of

course if im wrong, but like I said from what I read

and hear. YIm sorry its a registered drugs, its only

becuase people abuse it by taking a good drug, and

turning it into something horrible. Its ashame that

because of people who are retarted people like me with

ADHA have to suffer through all this stigma bullshit.

Its ridiculous. It would be like people abusing

oxycotins for no reason other than to just feel

''good'' and then having people who suffer from

tremendous pain from cancer not being able to get it,

and then having to suffer through the stigma of that

drug because of all the ''bad publicity'' of retards.

In my opinion the pharmacies are tootaly screwed up

and cant get there head out of there arse.

Even though it doesn't increase dopamine coming Adderal in itessentially increases the amount by flooding your brain with dopaminethat it actually already has. It prevents the reuptake ofnuerotransmitters much like SSRIs except instead of serontonin it isdopamine. So if you were to increase your dopamine while taking itlike smoking a cigarrete or taking chocolate it would saturate thatdopamine and it would stay in your system much longer. HoweverAdderall is essentially a legal form of a drug like Methamphetamine.And I definitely would not take Adderall unless I was in the situationI am in now. The difference is Adderall is more regulated (yeahright). I read that meth users nueronal receptor sites are shutdownafter chronic use. Because meth has a chemical that mimics thedopamine structure and gets in the brain and floods it with 6 timesthe "normal" dopamine you could produce on your own. The high is also3 and a half times that of cocaine and lasts up to 12 hours instead ofa half hour. In the video I watched on Meth it says the over-activityof those sites after long use causes the brain to shut the overloadedneurons. Could SSRIs have caused so much inactivity or overactivitythat many of our neuron receptors shut down as well? Also I read thatour cells become cork screw shaped in experiments done with rats fromSSRIs. We need to work on nueron structure as well to even activatemore dopamine. Well, we don't know if dopamine is the main problem. So taking pro-dopamine supplements/drugs may not be the answer. Be careful not to go crazy with supplements, too much can have adverse effects and you don't want to clean out your wallet taking things that aren't going to work. You need to try one at a time for a few weeks to see what happens before moving on to the next.Take it from me, I have plenty of unused supplements in my cabinet that I spent thousands of my hard earned money on. Now all I take is fish oil and protein for general health. How much is a "shitload" of omega-3? You don't want to overdo it.Don't get so hung up on dopamine! Chances are it's more than that.Honestly, I would try experimenting with Cialis a bit. I know it's not supposed to do anything for libido, but I swear it increased mine. I think the fact that I could get erections easier indirectly gave me a boost. I actually had an extremely rare (these days) erotic dream the other night, woke up with a big erection. The only side effect I've had to deal with is a headache when I took 20mg.
