Guest guest
Can regular family doctor charge you by the hour ? I had the wierdest experience today, or I think I did, his office visit was $60 dollars and we began talking about my problem and our conversation went pretty smoothly I didnt even realized time went by about like an hour but at the end he decided he couldnt help me and all of the sudden he says the office visit fee is charged since I took up his time talking to him. He said it totaled up to $160 for the visit. I told him I had no clue that taking up his time would actually cost more for visit since I had no previous experience of this happening. He got pretty much up in my face and said it is common sense that I know this. Is this true ? But I felt I didnt really owe him $160 especially when he didnt really tell me he was charging extra for talking to him and taking up his time. So, I kinda started to annoy him until he got really furious and told me to leave by just paying $60. It wasnt really the money issue, I felt I had right to know I was being charged for talking to him. Is this really commone sense ? Am I missing something or did I just go nuts. Today I really kind of felt like I really have lost it with reality for some reason.
