Guest guest
Thanks. I had a great time. And it sounds like everyone who went to LA had a great time too. Maybe next time it will work out for me to go back for a visit when another group goes to the WTC there. ------- Talia Adar Jerusalem Post Tel: (02) 531-5639 Fax: (02) 538-8408 > > Reply-To: tae-bo_onegroups > Date: Mon, 09 Oct 2000 08:21:04 -0000 > To: tae-bo_onegroups > Subject: Re: RETURNING > > Welcome Back Talia > > Hope you had a good time, it's a shame it didn't co-incide with the > guys out there - maybe next time > > Jill > > > >> Greetings everyone, >> >> I'm back on the posts again. Guest guest
And now that I am reading all those reports, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe it's not so comfortable to work out at WTC... ------- Talia Adar Jerusalem Post Tel: (02) 531-5639 Fax: (02) 538-8408 > From: Horsemom2@... > Reply-To: tae-bo_onegroups > Date: Sun, 8 Oct 2000 06:47:11 EDT > To: tae-bo_onegroups > Subject: Re: RETURNING > > In a message dated 10/08/2000 5:38:38 AM Eastern Daylight Time, > talia@... writes: > > << They > were in the middle of a session, which I watched for awhile. I forgot that you were going to be in the States I'm sorry we missed you this time around! Next time....maybe you will be able to join us when we are all there! I love your message about the WTC and you are absolutely right! It is such an incredible place and there are people of all fitness leves working out! We asked Shellie how new people did it because they only offer the Intro class and then the Advanced classes that are incredible tough and she said " You know....they just do what they can " and that's exactly what they do! You can't go in there with the thought that you will be able to keep up....because most likely you will walk out disappointed! But, if you go there with the attitude that you will do the best you can and that it's OK to modify....you will have the time of your life! When we took Shellie's class on Friday afternoon, I stood towards the back with and Susi and I did almost everything in halftime with a few sets of double time thrown in every now and then! I was still totally exhausted and it was a great workout! So, you don't have to keep up with that speed to get a good workout! Anyway, after the class I asked Shellie if it threw her (or the other instructors) off when I modified the moves like that and she said " absolutely not " . So, it's OK to modify and go at your own pace! I'm glad that you got a chance to experience the WTC! Even if it was just to observe! It is something that all Tae-Bo fans have to experience! Next time....you'll definitely have to take a class! The instructor you saw was Shellie's fiancee, Mark! He's been teaching there for about 3 months! We took a class that he was teaching with ('s brother). taught the class and Mark stood up on the stage and went around the class. It was a great class and he is a good instructor! It's kind of like the tapes......there's not a bad instructor and I can't pick a favorite! Although, I have to admit that is way up there (but I think that's cause I am in love....LOL)! I'm glad you're back here with us! BL4 and BL5 are both great tapes! I hope you enjoy them

Guest guest
, Thanks for the response. I was glad that I had the chance to pop in and check out the WTC. What I thought was interesting was that the ATMOSPHERE was un-intimidating, which is why I felt that I could actually feel comfortable in participating in a workout there. I enjoyed watching Mark lead the workout. He has a lot of energy and he seemed to be okay. It's nice to now have a frame of reference of the WTC so that when everybody is talking about it, I CAN RELATE!! It's good to be back and getting all that encouragement... Guest guest
That is the key: " you just have to swallow your pride... " If one can go and join in with the attitude that we are there to learn, then one can gain a lot from it. I could say that the class I watched had quite a few, if not most, who did not keep up with the pace. This is not negative. The workouts can be really intense and a lot of these people who seemed to have to stop every once in awhile looked to be in pretty good shape. The most important thing is to go and just join in and keep expectations low (I would not say this about most things!) and use it as a learning experience. ------- Talia Adar Jerusalem Post Tel: (02) 531-5639 Fax: (02) 538-8408 > From: Etcarroll2@... > Reply-To: tae-bo_onegroups > Date: Tue, 10 Oct 2000 19:23:32 -0000 > To: tae-bo_onegroups > Subject: Re: RETURNING > > >> Greetings everyone, >> >> I >> popped into the WTC in Sherman Oaks.
