Most books take about a year in hardcover before a paperback is made available.

I'm back in the midwest. I have garnered the assistance of about 20 "organic" types -- not with any kids on the spectrum to start calling all books stores in a 100 mile radius to ask whether or not they have Kirby's book. I went into & Noble and bought the only three copies they had. I even asked Whole Foods if they would carry it.

hey -- It would have been nice to have this printed in paperback so it was more affordable for the people like me who buy it for everyone. I would have bought 20 on the spot if they were $16.95 vs. $26.95. haha I plan on donating copies to places like the little organic store in town, my holistic chiropractor and my son's craniosacral therapists office.

I can't wait to dig into this book tonight.

I was just driving through a small town of about 13,000 people and saw a bookstore. So I asked if they had the book and their system said "it was not in print." I told them that it just came out last week. She commented that she thought she saw a copy and went to look for it. Sure enough, they had sent her one copy to sell. From experience, towns that size rarely have an actual bookstore so I am pleasantly surprised.
