CDC Advisor Says Autism Increasing in Denmark, Sweden and the United States Hmm, Denmark..?? Wasn't that where they got the data for the MMR study from? Using a statistical model which to compensate (or not - it's been a while since I read 'Denmark in Perspective') for the "catch-up" campaign in the European countries.. A model which they never disclosed..<start dripping sarcasm> Isn't the way science is supposed to work is that you describe everything you use and do - right down to the company that makes the glassware and reagents you used? (I've actually seen this written in some bio paper)? Are epidemiological studies somehow exempt from this rule? Or is it just autism "research" - which is basically a religion (on BOTH sides - to varying degrees). And of course, mainstream medicine/research would rather touch one of Artemis' lava-hot soul-medallions than anything related to ASD. All for fear that if they even mention the word "autism" (or similar), in the next sentence, someone is going to shout out either MERCURY or VACCINES or both. Which they can't have - sacred cows can't be killed you know.. So they never talk about ASD at all because they are afraid of what causes (influences) it. ly, I don't much give a rat's behind what influences it it is has come to this and MsM. I just want them to:1. Acknowledge that a problem does exist - i.e. there are a lot of sick kids out there2. Acknowledge that there is at least anecdotal evidence that it can be made better if not "cured" (their quotes here, and for "conditional cures dependent on continued supplements)3. FOR THE LOVE OF Rezar (wherever she's been hiding all these billions of years..), do the replication studies of Jill et al. and actually add support or falsify claims of real metabolic abnormalities in these kids.4. Stop bickering over the ethicality of cheatator-challenge ranges vs. "normal" ranges for metals, possible brain damage from chelators if you aren't actually metal-poinsoned (at least if you're a rat.. Did they give that rat supplementation of the metals the body does need???? Just a hunch - that they didn't..)4a. An MRI scanner works by using a large magnetic field to alight the nuclear spins of either hydrogen or iron, and then using another changing field to (somehow) identify if a particular atom (with a characteristic spin - I think - I've just started Googling stuff on how MRI works). Pray tell me (someone with a physics/chemistry background.. Can you set the fields to scan for other elements? Like oh.. I don't know.. Mercury, Cadmium, Bismuth, Antimony, Arsenic, etc.. Maybe even copper and zinc perhaps - you might be able to compare to tell the ratio, but maybe not since copper is supposedly found in bones and thus all over in the skull.4b. Please tell me that I'm not the first person to thing of this application of human NMRI.. (Or perhaps other's have thought about it - but it just won't work!)5. Also for the Rezar, if they are going to do studies on GI or MMR or anything else ASD-related, use more than 20 damn kids! All they'd have to do is go on about 2 or 3, or maybe even 1 autism-biomed board and find hundreds of kids who have ASD and "co-morbid" gut problems.6. Do a damn study on microflora in the guts.. And one on probiotics, cleaning up bad bacteria and fungus in the gut, and handwriting.. Might save the next generation of 3rd grades from a bunch of misery (and pain - if "mitochondrial energy challenge" is involved).7. Start listening to DAN! (and other seemingly "forbidden" topics such as the K Protocol and something that Dr. Usman had to say about NAC last year..)8. Start running trials on oxytocin for the love of Epithymia! Shouldn't be hard to do either, since OT is an off-label drug, and doesn't seem (I don't) think have many side effects. Vasopressin on the other hand might just have rather severe side effects (the name suggests vascular action, which might not be a good thing to mess with..)JimPS. Anyone who gets my little in-jokes - go to the head of the book-reading class :) LOL!
