Guest guest
Hi, Everyone........my first thought is his hips. Does he have hip dysplasia or has he ever been X-rayed from the hips down. Gareth had to have hip surgery 3 yrs ago (age 15) because his right hip socket had eroded away.....we never knew he had hip dysplasia and he never complained about pain until it was almost gone.. Also, G's kneecaps rock back and forth......maybe knee braces and ankles braces will help. Just some ideas from my own experience with Gareth. Viola......Gareth is the same way....only with short sentences.....over and over and over again. He'll ask the same question and he knows the answer, but he will still ask it.....over and over and over again!!! When ever he gets 'lippy' with me, I say " EXCUSE ME " really hurt like..... " I don't talk to you like that " He will usually say 'sorry.' I think sometimes they do pick it up from other kids their ages from school, etc.and bring it home.....they are good at that echoing.....whether it's the right thing to say or not!!! Also, depending on the SSRI he's on, sometimes it all but disappears for awhile. Right now, he's not too bad. Take care, Everyone. Guest guest
Hi Margaret, 's orthopedist recently took an x-ray of the hips and everything is fine. He also wears the SMO orthotics, which have definitely improved his stability. I appreciate your suggestions, as it helps me to make sure that we have covered everything. Thank you.
