Congratulations, Mom-Dad and especially Mic!

Mics graduation

Mics yearly graduation was today and I ended up sitting with him and the kids

because once he saw me he would not stay put so they asked me to come up and sit

with him. I ended up with another little girl on my lap and Mic in front of

me.He was so cute and he makes everyone smile. They had lots of songs and the

kids were dancing Mic right up front and everyone was smiling and laughing at

him. 2 of his teachers are leaving and came up to give me there phone numbers

they wanted to babysit for me.Thats just so neat and it happens all the time.

Mic was the smiling ham he usually is when theres music and dancing and a crowd

applauding.It was alittle ackward I was the only mother on the forefront with

their kid.Plus Mic is the only ds kid in the school but he is such a cutie. I

will post a picture unfortunately I didnt get many I wasnt thinking to give my

camera to someone.I always walk away so proud of him. On our way out Mic was

saying bye bye bye bye to everyone ve! ry cute. I

saw my tears running down my dhs face when Mic got up to do his dance.Alot of

parents cry men and woman at these graduations I only had a watery eyes at least

it wasnt running down my face like my dhs.I need to go to the parent meetings

and get these parents in the groove to help them find services.Most of them know

nothing about services and dont have a service coord. The school is working on a

service coord for this coming year.These kids need a med waiver service coord.I

cant believe some of the parents dont even know what a service coord is.I can

help them.Med Waiver was easy for us because of the duel dx not so easy for the

other kids.I was proud of all the kids nobody had any major meltdowns like they

did last year. The school did a great job. A good day!!! Laurie
