Guest guest
Jayne, I don’t recall where I heard it but I believe it was from a woman with autism who spoke at a conference. That she couldn’t take a shower as the water coming down on her skin was too painful. Anyone else heard this? Louise Re: /Margaret <<<You could hear Gareth grinding his teeth from across the room and yet his mouth never moved!!! We never could figure out how he could do it without appearing to be doing it......got me on that?!?!? >>>> Oh my word Margaret, this is !!! Oh he grinds so horribly! He's like a ventrilaquist (sp?) grinder!!! , I'm very anxious to hear how your son does in KKI too. Geez, 's teeth grinding, hand flapping, and defiance are getting so bad - and now I'm about to move with him! Oh am I in for it!!! Tonight he was so strange. I had the shower running and he was sitting on the toilet, he wouldn't get off of it. He'd stand up and then go right back into the toilet room and sit down on the toilet. I had pecs going and everything trying to tell him " shower time " . I finally resorted to " shower first, then Oreo's " - he still wouldn't budge! Oh I was losing it (on the inside - not on the outside). Finally I said, do you want a bath? He agreed. I guess it was just the shower. Go figure! Then there we were having an oreo in the bathroom after a bath - UGH! I'll never figure this boy out! Off to read 65 books before he falls asleep.... Jayne -- No virus found in this incoming message.
