Guest guest
Does your son not also have Medicaide to pay a portion of the cost of the orthotics? Elie's were well over $1,000 this time, but we paid nothing - between his insurance from the military thru dh, and Medicaide. But it took months to get the back after they were measured and remeasured and fabricaated and then remade because they rubbed......... Guest guest
nathan is covered on all our medical/dental /eye insurance too, but gets medicaid through his MR waiver program, while it does help with his medical bills, which there are lots of, its a pain too, sometimes i just want to stop it. take today for instance i was refilling his meds, and now they wont pay for the generic miralax suppose to substitute sennakot instead, uuugh, and he tried that first many years ago, it makes him vomit, so we and his doc have to go through the rigamaroll to get this approved, as we did with the prilosec etc, its very very exhausting getting med after med approved for him through them, when we dont ever abuse the system but because soo many do, those of us who need it have to suffer. shawna
Guest guest
Hi Sara, I was under the impression that would not be eligible for Medicaide because my husband makes too much and we have medical insurance through his employer.
