Guest guest
Hi all, Haven't posted in a very long time, but we are still here, alive and kickin'. Have a question. We've been doing more reading on Sensory diet/activities for our boys, and some other books on Autism/Asperger's.. We have a situation we have not come across, and wondered if anyone else knows of any book/papers on the subject. The things we've read, when say the parents are divorced, usually one parent leaves and either has nothing to do with the kid(s) or is on the same page as the custodial parent. What about when there is a divorce and the non custodial parent is inflexible and unwilling to compromise on issues regarding what is best for the kids? Thier dev. ped. is trying to help with our specific issues on this, but we can't be the only parents with special needs kids who have this issue, so I was wondering, if anyone else has either been thru this or knows of any literature on the subject? We'd really appreciate any help. Thanks!! and Amy, moms to Greg, 12, Aspergers/ADHD and Layne 8, DS/Autism --------------------------------- How low will we go? Check out Yahoo!
