I got a book like that from both my kids schools. They've been giving vaccines

there. Of course mine did not get them, but the money that's being spent on all

these little pamphlets and info books(which doesn't even have the actual facts

included anyway)is beginning to make me sick. What a waste of valuable

resources.

We got a color flyer from school, too, but it was just one page…It

just stated the flu shot is the best way to prevent H1N1 and Seasonal flu…

I'm still hanging on to a bird flu calendar my daughter got a few years ago. Ah

the bird flu...the pandemic that never was...

Our school did a survery to see what the interest was. I

can't believe how crazy scared everyone is. It's out of control!

People were pissed that it isn't being offered for grades under 5th (reason not

enough staffing for what it takes with the little ones). One neighbor

called me and told me she caved with her two because other parents were making

her feel guilty that she hadn't done it yet. Then after she had them get

it she read the paperwork and realized that it had thimerosal in it. So

she called me to ask why. Oh boy…Call me before and tune out the media

driven crazy, hysteric moms…

I do know several people that had it, the one person I know that

got pnemonia after it was my hometrainer. I took one look at her when she

walked into my house, after being sick the 2 visits before, and I told her to call

the Doctor because I could tell she had pnemonia. I was right, she did,

she is also the only one I knew who took Tamiflu while she had the flu. Anyone

know if a secondary infection is more common with Tamiflu? -

Well, now today I'm hearing they suspect some of the H1N1 cases were actually a

rotovirus (good old common cold). Only downside is that they are using that

error in diagnosis to encourage all parents to vaccinate their children instead

of assuming they are immune to H1N1 if their doc told them they had it (and

weren't tested).

You probably mean rhinovirus, and I knew they'd use it to push more

vaccines.
