We used the EZ _N Vest manufactured by E-Zon Products, Inc. www.ezonpro.com

Mine was bought by the SD so I can't tell you the cost. It can be put on

fron to back so that the zip is not accesible. Just make sure that the

straps fit right - took two people to get it adjusted - one to hold kid

still, one to adjust.

Sara - Choose to make lemonade, not complain about the lemons.

does it wrap around the seat or do you have to install a hook to the

floor of the van? We bought something from ez on but my husband

could not figure out how we would bolt the hook to the floor of the

van without major problems.

Lee Ann: I bought a 5-pt harness for Tori, but never used it. It fits all

passenger vehicles and seems to be more difficult to open on the kid's part. I

posted it for sale but have not yet had any buyers.

car seat?

Hello,

My son is going to be 8 years old this month and is getting frustrated

when he has to sit in a car seat. He is about the size of a 4 or 5

year old and still needs to be in some sort of safety seat. A booster

would work but he does not stay buckled in. We have a 12 passenger

van. Does any one know of a harness system that is easy to install

into a van? It would need to be something he could not work his way

out of.

Thanks so much,

Lee Ann

It actually goes over and under the seat. It is real easy to install and is

quite secure.

I will email you personally with a photo of it.

LeAnn, my dh drilled 2 holes thru the floor of our van and attached seat

buckles/belt. the seat buckles hold the car seat in place hes gonna need a new

car seat too hes beginning to escape.Mic is so low tone he can do amazing things

to escape.I also am looking for something bigger and escape proof too.Hes

getting out of the one the school bus has too.He shugs his shoulders and slides

the straps if they made it tighter and it leaves marks on his shoulders he still

manages to get those straps off. The bus driver has to stop and put them back

on. Laurie

Hi, we had the same problem with Hannah. We ordered the Snug Seat Traveller

Plus by Britax (it's a car seat) and our insurance even paid for it. 5 strap

harness system, went high enough where it could support her head if she fell

asleep - which unfortunately only happened once. It's big, but we used it in our

mini-van.

Hi a,

So your daughter couldn't get her upper body out of that 5 point harness? The

problem we have is that Katy will get her arms out over those central buckle

things and then will push the belt down until it's just around her waist. Then

she'll lean over and try to open the van door, which if we don't remember to

lock, she can very easily do and has done while we're driving down the freeway.

Fortunately, knock on wood, she hasn't figured out how to unlock it YET. But

from looking at the Snug Seat site, the belt system looks very similar to what

we currently have, and she can get right out of it. Let me know if there's

something I can't see from the tiny picture on the website.

Thank you!
