Guest guest
<<I don't want to make meal-time a fight, we have enough issues there, but on the same token - the boy has no manners! Not that I'm Miss Manners but I want him to sit at the table and just try and eat there! This is probably my smallest concern.>> Hi, Everyone....I remember when Gareth was horrible with table manners. I use to think of him as Helen Keller.....in the old movie where she was allowed to grab food (with her hands) from the plates of anyone and walk around eating whatever she wanted. That was until Anne Sullivan came into the household and forced her to show manners. I finally told him that food was eaten at the table. Drinks stay on the table, too. He's not allowed to carry them around the house. First, I settled for him eating at the table....either with us or by himself. Now, he will set the table, help clean it up, and eat with us. Take care, Everyone. Margaret
Guest guest
Oh yes - Elie clears his place at table. we are now working on the dishes going in the dishwasher. He wipes the table at school, but never at home.
