Hi All,

Went into Hannah's class on Wednesday and stuck around as I heard a few

stories about Hannah falling on the floor when she was supposed to walk and

transition from one place to another, and kicking when she didn't want to do the

hard fine motor work at the work table. Things worked out fine, gave them some

tricks that work with her.

But the best part of the day was the PT lady came in and said " oh, while

you're here, I want you to see what Hannah can do on the trike " So they strapped

her little feet in and off she went. I mean she rode it all over the school!

Sometimes without holding onto the handlebars. She would look like she was going

to hit a person or a wall and at the last second, turn. She could pedal

backwards and maneuver in through a doorway. I couldn't believe it. This would

be a

great thing for her to do this summer. She is fat and needs to burn off some

calories. So, does anybody know of any group that can provide special needs

trikes for little or no cost? Help!!

a (Hannah 9)
