She got the vaccine, but they said they can get them...just not as bad. Guest guest
many hugs for tori, make sure she gets plenty of fluids, and her doctor knows. had them horribly twice, and the second time he had to be hospitalized. They can give them some oral medicine to help to do beleive. I think it was one if those anitviral or herpes zoster meds, and it did help, shawna --------------------------------- Love cheap thrills? We went to the Urgent Care and BINGO-we won! She is totally covered...Every square inch of her. So far she hasn't been too bad with them..I am just waiting. And OMG-I hope this is the only case of them she gets!!! Guest guest
I do wish Tori well during her recovering time from the chicken pox, good that she is getting this out of the way so you do not have to worry about it down the road. Yep, watch for the fever though. What helped when he finally had the outburst of chicken pox was the Oatmeal bath. He had it twice in his lifetime because the first time only a few had popped out, doc said we were not done if he came across someone with chicken pox, sure enough it finally hit him all over there was an outbreak at school, bad timing too as we were in the middle of moving from one city to another one. One virus out of the way when Tori comes out of this. Wish her well. Irma,17,DS/ASD

Guest guest
i think our kids dont tke vaccinations as well as reglar kids, nathan has had a few of pnuemovax's and when they do a titer it doesnt even register, so they give a second one a coule weeks later and it either shows up a little or not at all. Ive been really worried about the mumps going around, hes been vaccinated for that but i wonder if it is really working and its to hard to draw blood anymore to check a titer. shawna __________________________________________________
