WASHINGTON (Dow )--U.S. Food and Drug Administration staff are recommending

an updated warning label for Asmanex, a Schering-Plough Corp. (SGP) asthma drug.

Separately, FDA staff recommended that Abbott Laboratories' (ABT) anti-seizure

drug Depakote be studied further to see if it causes developmental delays in

children.
