Guest guest
Dr.Enthoven I am going to give you this in small bites, someone told me you can eat an elephant but only in small bites. The autism vaccine connection is a giant elephant. This destroys the creditability of the IOM report completely. and all the large population based studies. Especially the two Denmark studies. That are always being touted, that they Denmark took out the Thimerosal and the Autism went up so that settles it. Not really, this is an excerpt that destroys Denmark's credibility "As questionable as the US thimerosal methodology was, "it was an improvement on other studies, including the two in Denmark, both of which had serious weaknesses in their designs," Dr. Irva Hertz-Picciotto, Professor of Public Health at UC Medical School and Chair of the NIEHS panel"ordered by congress to look at the evidence of the CDC on vaccines causing autism Dr. she also said this ; That leaves very little for the CDC to go on in terms of proving that thimerosal and autism are not associated in any way. So how can the special masters make a statement like the evidence was so over welmingly against the parents, and that they had no choice but to rule the way they did. A complete lack of integrity, or maybe they just did not read the congressional report condemning the CDC,s evidence on autism and vaccines causation. May I remind you Dr. that the Vaccine compensation court sited the IOM report as proof of the science that was sooverwhelmingly against the parents. Dr. Enthoven I hope you see this like my Dr. did, after I showed him what I am showing you. He said Joe "we only know what were told" Please take the time to reveiw this, I can produce copys of the original documents that these excerpts come from if needed. Dr., this excellent article I'm sending you is in a PDF file called Dragon. IT appears that other countries are having to ask the hard questions that our American press in a free nation, cannot or will not. Below are some excerpts from the Byron Child exclusive, "Dragon by the tail" When byron child asked CDC spokesperson Curtis for a copy of thecontract that would detail the agreement between the IOM and the CDC, stated that the contract would be available only in a heavily "redacted" orblacked-out format. Dr.the only time you black out something, is when you are trying hide something. The IOM stated "no comment" to byron child about the leaked transcript or itsuse in the pending civil court case. Dr. notice that the IOM is not saying that the minutes leaked are not real, they are just saying no comment Specifically sited are statements by the IOM study director KathleenStratton, PhD, and committee chair Marie McCormick, MD. These statements, the law firm says, strongly suggest Stratton and McCormick deliberatelyrailroaded their committee into specific outcomes (all in italics directlyfrom court document):Dr. McCormick, for example, in speaking of the CDC, noted that the agency"wants us to declare, well, these things are pretty safe on a populationbasis." (See Exhibit 1 at page 33). It is later stated that what walt wants walt generally gets Dr., I fail to see the science in telling someone not to find the vaccines unsafe on a population basis This is the IOM actual minutes on what was on their mind, and I assure you Dr. it was not the children's safety "We've got a dragon by the tail here," states a committee member in thetranscript. "At the end of the line, what we know is - and I agree - thatthe more negative that presentation [the report] is, the less likely peopleare to use vaccination, immunization, and we know what the results of thatwill be. We are kind of caught in a trap. How we work our way out of thetrap, I think, is the charge." It seems here they were discussing lying to the American people for their own good or the good of the vaccine program. The flip side of that coin is that they are willing to allow more children to be harmed so the truth doesn't get out. Dr. ; as an intelligent journalist are you caught in a trap, if you find nothing? Do you have to work your way out of something your not in. The IOM findings were, no causation for vaccines, and autism, and don't look at vaccines again. To put your money where you will get more bang for your buck. Dr., the above statement is a far cry from "the more negative that presentation [the report] is, the less likely peopleare to use vaccination, immunization, and we know what the results of thatwill be. We are kind of caught in a trap Again you are not caught in a trap, if you find nothing! They the IOM seems to be more worried about the vaccine program than the children being over dosed with mercury. Read the simpsonwood transcripts and you will know why the lead Dr. at simpsonwood said ; Dr. Brent: Page 229: "The medical legal findings in this study, causal or not, are horrendous and therefore, it is important that the suggested epidemiological, pharmacokinetic, and animal studies be performed. If an allegation was made that a child's neurobehavioral findings were caused by Thimerosal containing vaccines, you could readily find a junk scientist who would support the claim with "a reasonable degree of certainty". But you will not find a scientist with any integrity who would say the reverse with the data that is available. And that is true. So we are in a bad position from the standpoint of defending any lawsuits if they were initiated and I am concerned." It has just come to light that the CDC admitted in a report to congress that the Dir. admits to a startling string of errors in the design and methods used in the CDC's landmark 2003 study that found no link between mercury in vaccines and autism, ADHD, speech delay or tics. has delivered a potentially explosive report to the powerful House Appropriations Committee, in which she admits to a startling string of errors in the design and methods used in the CDC's landmark 2003 study that found no link between mercury in vaccines and autism, ADHD, speech delay or tics. Gerberding was responding to a 2006 report from the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), which concluded that methodology such as that used in the CDC's flagship thimerosal safety study is riddled with "several areas of weaknesses" that combine to "reduce the usefulness" of using the data in such a way. "CDC concurs," Dr. Gerberding wrote in an undated report to Congress, (provided to me through a Capital Hill staffer) adding that her agency "does not plan to use" the database in question, the Vaccine Safety Data Link, (VSD) for any future "ecological studies" of autism (though that is exactly what they did in the 2003 study). In fact, Gerberding's report said, use of the VSD for an ecological study now, comparing autism rates before and after the removal of most mercury from vaccines, "would be uninformative and potentially misleading." Ecological vaccine studies are large, epidemiological analyses of risks and trends using computerized data from large populations -- in this case children enrolled at several big HMOs -- without linking results to actual individual outcomes. CDC officials conducted at least five separate analyses of the data over a four-year period from 1999-2003. The first analysis showed that children exposed to the most thimerosal by one month of age had extremely high relative risks for a number of outcomes, compared with children who got little or no mercury: The relative risk for ADHD was 8.29 times higher; for autism, it was 7.62 times higher; ADD, 6.38 times higher; tics, 5.65 times; and speech and language delays were 2.09 more likely among kids who got the most mercury. "CDC concurs," Gerberding wrote, again noting that its study design was "not appropriate for studying this vaccine safety topic. The data are intended for administrative purposes and may not be predictive of the outcomes studied." Another serious problem is that the HUMANs have changed the way they tracked and recorded autism diagnoses over time, including during the period when vaccine mercury levels were in decline. Such changes could "affect the observed rate of autism and could confound or distort trends in autism rates," the NIEHS warned. "CDC concurs," Dr. Gerberding wrote again, "that conducting an ecologic analysis using VSD administrative data to address potential associations between thimerosal exposure and risk of ASD is not useful." Bet you have not heard that before Dr.,now how do you handle this kind of information? with integrity and righteous anger at the people trying to hide what they had done to the American children and their families. After they found that they were infact damaging the children. Dr. you need to ask your self this, if I were around in the days the Jews were starved and gassed would I stop it if I could? Or just say I am just following orders. Look at this, as the American holocaust, that you can help to stop. Read that sentence one more time. The head of the CDC is saying that its most powerful and convincing piece of exonerating evidence for thimerosal was based on anecological analysis of data whose methodology would be, in effect, "useless" for future study. I hope everyone will read these documents, including the recommendations to make the VSD better, and the CDC's agreement with all of the suggestions. Hopefully, this data can still be used in some effective way. As questionable as the US thimerosal methodology was, "it was an improvement on other studies, including the two in Denmark, both of which had serious weaknesses in their designs," Dr. Irva Hertz-Picciotto, Professor of Public Health at UC Medical School and Chair of the NIEHS panel, told reporter Dan Olmsted at UPI. That leaves very little for the CDC to go on in terms of proving that thimerosal and autism are not associated in any way. Dr. that leaves the CDC with absolutly nothing!!!! except junk science. Dr. this reminds me of Jack Nicholson saying to tom cruise " YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!!" Someone once wrote an article parents dupted by junk science, if what I wrote is true and I assure you it is. Then it is not parents dupted,by junk science it is well meaning good Dr.s.
