But there have been times that I must admit, I just bagged the whole mess up, shoes and all and threw them away. :-) Carol Trishasmom She isn't Typical, She's Trisha! Carol, I'm glad there is someone else out there who has had those moments. I kind of envision it as throwing away the autism. I quit rinsing the poopy underwear. If we averaged a pair of underwear every two days or less then it was cheaper than keeping him in pull-ups. Karyn

I remember doing it with my 6 year old son who had a habit of having BM accidents....LOL The poop thing is a nightmare here as well; always has been (especially when she was into eating it.....it's only recent that she doesn't do that any more). We're still doing the potty training and it's going well, IMO. But Saturday, it was POOP City around here. THREE poop accidents that required a bath afterwards. And yesterday, 10 minutes before trying to get Easter dinner on the table for 17, she required a bath....HOWEVER, after some inspection, my daughter and I realized that she had taken herself to the toilet, took off her pants and poop WAS deposited. YES, we probably now need a plumber (a whole roll went in as well), but she DID IT!!!!!!!! Sara, that story cracked me up!!!!!! Totally sounds like something my sons would do!!! We get 2 cases of depends each month so for me it's much cheaper to go that route. We use panties as well. The depends are great also when she is on her period. You know the more I think about it there is nothing wrong with letting her wear depends, heck they are made for adults on the go so to speak. Lol What is the difference in her incontinence and an adults? I just wish they made them in different colors. :-) Carol Trishasmom She isn't typical, She's Trisha!
