Guest guest
This was on this morning, a lot of special needs children being injured or killed at the hands of their teacher. And parents are having to go to Congress to discuss this problem, as school Distr's and State Dept of Education have failed to investigate. Some teachers are still teaching who have taken some of these children's life's! Why in this day and age in this country, do we hear they lack training how to help these kids??? http://abcnews.go.com/health/MindMoodNews/story?id=7618327 & page=1 An Excellent Credit Score is 750. Guest guest
It's happening because there's an epidemic and many local Dept. of Education officially deny that there is one, are utterly unprepared to deal with the sheer numbers of children hitting the system. My feeling is that this " increased recognition " lie actually triggers cruelty to children with autism. A really dumb special education assistant teacher who works part time at a local daycare drop off center told us " Isn't it terrible that they used to put all these kids (meaning kids with autism who " existed in equal numbers " throughout history) in institutions? " She was the only ed professional working in the center and our kids HATED her. She was mean, impatient, had rigid ideas of what " disabled kids need " . But to her, her meanness and impatience must have seemed like blessed charity compared to what she'd been told would happen to children with autism " in the past " . So I frankly think this fantasy feeds her nastiness because no matter what she doles out, she'd been convinced that we and our children should be grateful for it. If the prevailing understanding was that children with autism were made ill by the system, are physically sick, it would be much harder for asshole education professionals to justify the abuse and they'd find less support from bystanders. > > This was on this morning, a lot of special needs children being injured or > killed at the hands of their > teacher.
