The MMR was licensed in the US in 1971 (if memory serves me), so no, they did

not have it in 1968. The single vaccines were available, measles 1960, rubella

1966 and mumps 1968, so it is possible that those shots were given.

Hi.. I remember.. my sister.. age 4 and while we were in Greece for the summer

of 68... came down with measles... we shared the same bedroom... I remember my

mom keeping the room dark... my sister survived... I never got them... I just

thought of that .. that she did get them.. now .. I remember her red spots... I

need to ask my mom.. she has early alzheimers.. maybe she will remember to tell

me.... I have to ask.. did they have MMR back then? Lia
