Guest guest
I had a weird dream that polystyrene was a culprit in vaccine-induced seizures (in the dream, I thought of the question and then a wind storm or hurricane struck and pieces of styrofoam and grit began flying around as I tried to get the kids inside to safety-- pretty crazy). I looked it up and it turns out it is being investigated as an immune system irritant: http://tinyurl.com/d6gllx Are there any similar chemicals already in vaccines, whether or not they're used as immune irritants? Is there mercury involved in processing polystyrene? Polystyrene is derived from petrochemicals and produced by Dow.

Guest guest
Thank you, . From the site: Polystyrene MUTAGENIC EFFECTS: Not available. TERATOGENIC EFFECTS: Not available. How can they declare a chemical " no health hazards " when these things aren't tested? Furthermore, the MDS states: Ethylbenzene was listed on California Proposition 65 in June 2004. Under the law, a warning must be given unless a business demonstrates that the exposure to the listed chemical poses no significant risk. With this notification TOTAL PETROCHEMICALS USA, INC. provides a " clear and reasonable " warning concerning the presence of this listed chemical at low levels in polystyrene. TOTAL PETROCHEMICALS USA, INC. has chosen to provide a warning simply based on its knowledge about the presence of the listed chemical as a constituent of the starting materials. > > http://www.totalpetrochemicals.biz/content/msds/PS-1_EN_US_UNDEFINED_CLI.pdf > > is the MSDS on polystyrene.
