Guest guest
Hi Charlyne, is doing great! He is very happy there and doing quite well. His teacher is going over his iep goals, most of which were met years ago but never charted .She asked him to count from 1-10 and then he just kept on going!!She was very pleased with that. There are 6 kids in his class and 1 classroom aide,1 teacher, and several aides and teachers in and out.It is a very structured classroom, which is what he needs, and enjoys. They treat his mom very well by answ ering any questions she has IMMEDIATELY ,writing about his day in the notebook at length and this week-end his teacher is going over the work his mom does with him at home so that they are both on the same page with his education. He will have off 10 days in june and 10 days in August but otherwise he will go year round. He had esy at his other school but it was more like a camp with very little actual learning. He really likes going out for 15 minutes 3 times a day and i think he is losing some weight by playing hoops for 45 mins a day.He has a mini and a large tramp at home and keeps pretty active in the warm weather. He also is not much for sweets but loves protein and anything crunchy and salty. He also loves the pool and has taught himself how to swim.I could write a book about him but guess i should do some housework!!gma carole
